The Rock Island Community Foundation is a community organization
that was formed in 1967 for the purpose of promoting the civic needs
and general welfare of the City of Rock Island and the surrounding
areas.
The Foundation selectively provides financial support for causes
and organization that can effectively demonstrate the ways they
serve the needs of the citizens of the Rock Island community. The
Foundation is funded through gifts, bequests or grants from the
citizens of the community and area businesses.

community and personal commitment to making a contribution
